A Saturday morning was usually a good time to sleep in and enjoy the fact that Jenn's job didn't start until that night. Saturdays were not a busy day as much as it was on Saturday nights. However, this particular Saturday morning Jenn had woken up extremely early. It could have been due to the fact that she was so tired and exhausted from work the previous night that she just zonked out. It probably was also because she had slept next to Adrian in his arms. Jenn seemed to have been sleeping much better being at Adrian's place. She didn't mind that though. She figured it was because Adrian relaxed her and she was overall just very very happy with her life.

That morning Jenn had woken up, being careful not to disturb Adrian as he slept in. She took a quick shower and got herself dressed in a cute little outfit she had gotten a few weeks prior on a shopping trip with Adrian. The poor guy said didn't mind shopping with Jenn but she could tell that he was getting tired of it rather quickly. As she had gotten dressed, she glanced over at the bed and saw Adrian twitch in his sleep lightly. She felt her face turn a shade of pink from being so happy with him and at how cute he was when he was sleeping. She tiptoed over and gave him a light lingering kiss on his forehead before walking out of the room.

Jenn had grabbed a quick breakfast and made her way out of the apartment down into Diagon Alley. She wasn't sure what store she was going to stop at first but she knew that she would be shopping for quite some time in Flourish and Blotts so she decided to stop there first. Walking in, Jenn took a big wiff and let the aroma of familiarity run through her nostrils. Jenn had grown up in a very strange and broken family, in a way. Her only resort was books. She had learned to read at a very young age but she hadn't really started reading until much later in life. When she was at Hogwarts, she would either be in the library or outdoors if the weather was nice, reading a book. At one point, Jenn was able to finish a decent sized novel in about a day.

As Jenn wandered into the shop, she waved hello to the clerk behind the desk. The young woman smiled and waved back and told Jenn that there was a special on children's books today. Jenn smiled and thanked her. More and more it seemed that the world around her was reminding her how much she wanted children. Instead of going to the adult hardcover section, Jenn took a stroll into the children's section just to check out the books. The colors and shapes everywhere made her feel very warm inside. She walked over to one of the shelves and picked up one of the children's books by an author named Dr. Seuss. Jenn found one of the little chairs and sat herself down, immersing herself in the idea of reading this book to one of her own young children, when she had them.
