After finishing the beer that he had been drinking, Adrian paid his tab and nodded towards his friends to let them know that he was leaving. Normally, they'd just say goodbye and tell him that they'd see him at practice, but tonight was different. The rest of his team had started in with him, mainly because he was leaving with a girl. There were a few of his teammates that wanted him to get laid that night, some of them wanted him and Jennine to join them so that they could get to know her, and there were a couple that wanted him to actually start dating the girl he had never fallen out of love with again. They all knew of his dating history since he had joined the team fresh out of school, so they were actually puling for this to turn into something so that they wouldn't feel bad when some of them asked Adrian over to their house and they were with their significant others. Plus, if Jennine and Adrian did end up together, then she'd be able to join the group of girls at each match, if she had wanted to go to each one, so that they could all bond over the same missing pieces. Their boyfriends.
Once Adrian put the money on the table for his drinks, he stood up and pulled his hoodie over his head. It was September in England and it was starting to get cold. Winter wasn't exactly his most favorite time of year, but he had to work through it. He had no other choice. When they got to the door, Adrian held it open for Jennine, then exited the bar himself. As soon as they were outside, Adrian felt the cool air go through the fabric of his hoodie, but he didn't mind much. He normally didn't get cold as easily as most people did, but if he were to be out in just a hoodie for more than a few hours, it would start getting to him. "So, you never really answered my question," the male said, looking to the female walking next to him. He had no idea where they were going, but all that Adrian did know was that he was actually happy that he was walking around the street with the girl that he had been in love with for so long.

Jenn watched as Adrian paid. She left a tip but that's about all she could do because he had already set enough money down for both of their drinks. She smiled as she got up from the table and wrapped her winter jacket around her a bit more tightly. She took her gloves out of her pockets and placed them on her hands as they reached the door to go outside. Adrian held it open for her, being the gentleman he was. She thanked him with a nod, a warm smile and a giggle.
As they walked out, Jenn shivered a bit when the brisk cold September air hit her face. She looked over at Adrian as he spoke to her as they started their walk down the street. "Answer to what?" she asked slyly, grinning at him with a huge grin. She nudged him with her elbow lightly and continued walking. She skipped ahead of him a bit and turned around so she was skipping backwards while right in front of him as he walked forward normally.
She smiled and laughed. "I think you should know what my answer based on the other things I said while we were in there," she said, stopping herself then stopping him as he reached her. She put her hand on his face caressing it softly then leaned in to face him closer. Before she even touched his lips, she pulled away quickly and turned around, skipping along down the road. She had to keep reminding herself to not make the first move. She was happy though and the skipping made her feel like a little kid again. It also helped keep her warm.
She thought back to when they were in school and Jenn used to skip all the time while they would take trips to Diagon Alley together. She blushed slightly, remembering the one time they got caught in the snow and he kissed her. It was so adorable and very memorable. So much of their short relationship Jenn could remember because she had fallen so deeply in love with him. She skipped along and turned around again to face him as she skipped backwards down the street, looking over her shoulder every few moments so as to not run into anything.

Now that the pair were outside, Adrian could see that Jennine was cold. He had to admit that it was a bit cold out, but he had great internal temperature and it took a snowy day for him to be really cold. Looking to Jennine, Adrian watched her shiver for a moment. "Do you want my hoodie?" he offered. Adrian soon his hand up to the top of his head and ruffled his hair a bit, grinning as he did so. "You know what answer I'm looking for," the male said. Pausing for a moment, Adrian eyed Jennine carefully. "Since you're not giving me a straight answer, I'm going to tell you what your answer is," Adrian said with a grin. Picking up his pace a little bit, Adrian soon caught up to Jennine and took her hand in his own. "You're definitely moving in with me." Grinning slightly, Adrian looked to Jen. "And if you're lucky, I might even let you sleep in my bed when I'm gone," Adrian said, pulling his former girlfriend close to him. She had teased him moments before, so he wasn't going to let her think that she was going to get away with it.
Adrian put his hand on Jennine's cheek and looked directly into her eyes. "You've always had the prettiest brown eyes," he said. Just as he finished his sentence, Adrian leaned forward and pressed his lips against Jen's. The kiss lasted a few moments, but when their lips parted, Adrian's hand remained on Jen's cheek. "Still tastes like cherries," he said with a smile. Taking a step back, Adrian just looked to Jen. "I don't know if you work tomorrow night, but if not, we have another match tomorrow night. I'd like it if you'd go. We all normally go out for dinner beforehand, then head to the pitch for warm-ups. If you don't want to or you have to work, I won't be mad." As much as Adrian didn't want Jen to tell him that she had to work or that she just didn't want to go, he knew that it was probably going to end up that way.

The moment that Adrian told her that she was definitely going to move in with him she rolled her eyes and made a face at him. Then when he would possibly let her sleep in his bed she laughed out loud. "Thank you for making all the decisions bub," she said jokingly, still skipping along the sidewalk. Her hands swung along the sides of her body. Moving more helped her keep warm. But she noticed that Adrian was catching up to her so she slowed down a bit. She turned to face him and when she did, he grabbed her hand.
Yes their hands were touching again but this time was different. Jenn's hold body was on fire even in the brisk cold of the fall. Looking into his eyes, she felt his hand grace her face lightly. He told her that she had the most pretty brown eyes. She could feel her face flush to a bright red but before she could answer him back his lips were on hers softly. Jenn's eyes closed and the love she had felt all those years ago surged into her heart again. He kissed her again and it felt like nothing had even changed between them.
He joked and told her that her lips still tasted like cherries. She let out a small burst of giggles. She felt like they were first dating all over again. The butterflies, the blushing, the giggling. It was all happening and Jenn hadn't felt like that in so long. When she looked to him again he told about their next match which was the following night. The way he talked about not being mad or upset if she had to work or didn't want to go made her smile. He did really want her there to support him. "There's one condition though," she said playfully and winked at him for a moment. She waited for a response then answered, "Tell me you love me again," she said and stood there in the fall of England, holding her first and only true love's hand, looking so passionately into his eyes.

Looking at his former girlfriend for a moment before he spoke, Adrian just took in her entire appearance. Shrugging his shoulders slightly, Adrian continued looked at Jennine. "What do you want from me? You told me that I should already know the answer to my own question, so I made the answer the one that I wanted it to be." When he finished speaking, Adrian brought Jennine close to him, kissing her and just staring into her eyes. "It's like we never broke up," he said to her. The only thing that Adrian had regretted now was him and Jenn breaking up. He couldn't even remember the reason for them breaking up, but he did know that he had missed her since they hadn't been together anymore. He often found himself wondering about what she was doing when he had free time all to himself. He wondered whether or not if she had thought about him at all since they had broken up and, as of tonight, he knew that she had, thankfully.
Once Adrian pulled away from the kiss, he could still taste the cherry flavor from Jenn's lip gloss. After asking Jenn to go to the match the next night, she told him on one condition; to tell her that he loved her. If he didn't tell her, he'd be lying. Taking Jenn's hand in his, Adrian brought there arms up and then twirled her in a circle. When she was facing him again, he dipped her, then leaned down slightly and kissed her. "I never stopped loving you, Jenni," he admitted with a smile. Bring Jennine back up towards him so that she had two feet on solid ground again, Adrian looked to her, waiting for some sort of reaction. Facial, verbal, physical, anything really. "But, you'd better not have me telling you that I love you unless you love me too," he said. "It would just be cruel if you did that to break my heart," Adrian said, grinning. He knew that his heart wasn't going to be broken. That's not how the pair of them worked.

Jenn shrugged and grinned at him when he told he chose the answer that he wanted. She saw him just looking at her and no matter what was said in this conversation, his looking at her made her melt. Then he said it felt like they had never broken up. "I still held you in my heart," she told him honestly, knowing that from the way he was acting with her, he had done the same. The two were so powerful and in love when they were together. How much could it possibly be different this time around? They were older and had probably so many stories to share with each other. Especially with him being a famous Quidditch player. Just like they had talked about him being all those years ago.
Right after she told him her condition on going to the game the next night, he took her hands up and twirled her around. She giggled and blushed a bright red as he dipped her ad kissed her passionately, right there in the street. He told her that he had never stopped loving her and put a smile on his face. She squinted her eyes at him and made a suspicious look. He didn't actually say that he loved her. She made to make a smart alec remark back to him but he stood her up and spoke to her again. Adrian told her that it wouldn't be fair if he said he loved her but she didn't say it to him. She looked in his eyes and placed one of her hands carefully on his face. Jenn caressed his cheek, feeling the skin of the man she had loved for so long.
Seeing his grin when he had said that it would be breaking his heart, while holding her hand to his face, Jenn gave him a huge grin back. "Hey Adrian," she said, and waited a moment or two for him to respond but didn't let him finish. "I love you," she told him, looking deeply into his eyes. "I love you so much and have for what seems like forever that it almost hurt me to know that you have come back into my life right when I needed love the most. When I needed you the most because Adrian, you're it. You're my soulmate, my everything. I love you," she said, smiling so large that her cheeks puffed up into her line of vision. Warm tears sat in the corners of her eyes, threatening to fall in pure happiness.
